I m not sure what area you are referring to, but Hiuston, Tx houses one of the largest medical center in the world. Houston's surrounding areas also have a lot of hospitals, walking clinics and local emergency care clinics as well. So there are plenty of employment opportunities in the medical field.
Thanks for the. Question and hopes this would help you.... more

This is a really old home ... doesn't even have central heat and air conditioning. The listing makes no mention of washer/dryer connections, so I'd assume that there are none. You can check with the management company ... www.MANAGErenthouses.COM ... but for under $700/month you're not going to get much.... more
There are many communities along Lake Houston on the northeast side of Houston and Lake Conroe to the north. A few have golf courses, but most do not have their own boat launches. One community that would fit the bill is Atascocita Shores just off of FM 1960. I sold one there to a buyer last fall with their own private dock on one of the canals coming off the lake.
This home you found is located in Waters Edge, a newer gated community along the expanded W. Lake Houston Parkway on the west side of Lake Houston. Other newer communities in this area include Lakeshore, Eagle Springs, Summerwood and Kingwood.
Most do not offer their own boat launches as this is an extra cost for the HOA plus issues of folks coming in and out that do not live in the neighborhood. The best boat launch for Lake Houston is Alexander Deussen Park on the south end near the dam. Very nice and large county park.
Let me know if you need assistance as I have shown most of these communities over the 20 years I have been assisting buyers and sellers. Good luck!

There is no record of any property for lease or sale at that address. Information here isn't always current. I suggest you search at www.har.com, where all information is up-to-date. Best of luck.
1. Go to Google maps 2. copy and paste the address and click on SEARCH (Google will pinpoint the location. 3. Now that the home is mapped, type in what you are looking for. If you type in "Bank" and click SEARCH, a bunch of banks will show up. If you type in "Grocery store", a bunch of grocery stores will show up. If you type in "plumber" or "veterinarian", you will see some local plumbers and veterinarians 4. When it is time to make a move, call your favorite Realtor, Chris Broussard.... more
If you go to the bottom of the listing on this link, there is a tab that says "amenities". This looks like a very car or bike dependent area. You may want to take the address and put it into Bing or Yahoo maps and plug in grocery or banks into the "nearest business" blank to see what comes up.
Good luck to you, lil... more

When I pulled up the listing on Trulia, it says Inwood (next to the zip code). No evidence of this home in the Houston MLS.
This area is in northwest Houston. You might have noticed it said "sold" so no longer available. This home is showing 1,375sqft. Avg sale price for this size home since last year is around $83,000. Hope this information helps.

The closest Walmart is the one on Yale and I-10. Let me know if you need help finding a home. I am a local Realtor and I am familiar with this area. I would love to help!
Hello Paula, I see you are looking to move from Detroit. I checked out the 2 questions you had on the property you are looking at for renting.
Gas stations, banks, grocery should be within around 3 to 5 miles. There are usually more stores available, but the known names are within that area.
The property you are referring to has been rented out. Have you already decidd to move here and if son when? Are you strictly looking for single family homes or are you also open to apartments?
If you need assistance (no fees charged to you), I would need to get some details on the budget, number of bedrooms, smoking preferences, if you have pets, date of move-in, etc., so I can guide you accordingly. Feel free to email or call on the contact listed below.
The HOA is contracted with a property management firm ... here's the contact information ...

Incidentally, the home was sold on 8/14 for $95,000 after 45 days on the market. It was listed at $89,900 but there must have been some FHA-mandated repairs included in the loan.
If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me.
