In order for you to find out whether a certain neighborhood is for YOU, in other words fits you family life and your interests, you will have to do some research on your own, there is a lot of information on the internet,
and drive through the neighborhood once you decide where you want to live and buy, drive through at various times and days of the week and decide. I strongly suggest to work with a trusted Realtor, Buyers agent to represent you and protect your interests throughout the entire process. Of course the agent will be able to show you, drive by with you, where the parks are, the shopping malls, schools you may be interested etc.
As agents we just cannot tell you if one neighborhood is family oriented or not....
And by the way a little word of advice...... Neighborhoods change over the years, people move in and out and cities make changes they build new schools, new train stations, new construction etc.
Good luck to you
