Rn123456, Home Seller in Clarksville, TN

I may have to sell my home soon and was wondering if putting in a nice closet organizer (master) would be a waste of money?

Home value is around $250,000 - I'm not concerned about making the home worth more, but perhaps making it show better if we put it on the market.

Although a closet organizer will probably make your closet nicer than others the fact is that upgrades like such do not increase the value of your home. If you are so close to sell your home the best option is to let a Real Estate Agent complete a Comparative Market Analysis on your property. In many occasions it's best not to incur in unnecessary expenses. Here is my number 931-320-1436, please call to set up an interview.

I work a lot with my sellers on things to improve their homes , I find a easy solution is for the seller to go to the local lowes and see the items and price them. If you are putting in extra money that will not bring you a return it is not worth it. I hope this has helped.

As your local real estate expert I am always avilable to come over and walk through your home and talk about what upgrades and improvements would be best for your home before listing it. Many sellers are shocked about how much they actually increase their homes value by doing upgrades like this. If you would like to meet up one day and talk about ideas you can email or call anytime.

Actually it might. As a know buyers are looking for the best relative value in market. Relative Value is a very broad term because what appeals to one buyer may not to another. If and when you put your home on the market the organizer will not make or break the sale but I think it would be deemed a postive. What sells homes is condition, exposure and proper alignment with the market at hand.

If it will it make your closet more efficient for your own personal use, then why not consider the idea; otherwise it's really a matter of personal preferences....

That sounds like something pretty personal so I would say it will not add much if anything to the value of the house, so why do it? If you can enjoy it until you sell, then it might be worth it.
