The best thing for you do you is get an agent to represent you.
Once a bank takes a home and it becomes an REO they list it for sale with a realtor. Your realtor will have access to all new listings.
Try to avoid Realty.trac and certainly stay away from any site that charges you a fee to get REO listings. The information on these sites is usuall very old, or worst not correct.
Get yourself a diligent buyer's agent and you will be in good hands.
