I guess that's another part of my question... which comes first the chicken or the highly-motivated agent?
Brian has references from many of his graduates... but are they highly successful because they took Brian's course... or did they take his course because they're highly-motivated (bound to be highly-successful) agents in the first place, who are pursuing ongoing education?
It is an excellent program, and Brian is an excellent motivator. It's primarily a program that helps get you back to basics, and it's prime message seems to be "keep in touch with your Core group"... those people who already like you and will send you business. Your "sphere of influence", family, friends and clients you've already bought or sold with.
Excellent advice, that we tend to overlook. While the program was good, it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long, in my opinion. (14 weeks is redonkculous!).
To answer my own questions...
1) Love it, like it hate it? ... I liked it.
2) Did it result in more business or just more work? ... just more work.
3) Did it interfere... surprisingly no...because Buffini helps train you to block your time better.
4) Mostly common sense... something that most of us are lacking... in spades.
Hope that helps.
Personally I love BB. I have gone to the Turning point and Mastermind before doing the 100 days. Both events were amazing and I waked away with gems of information and inspiration. I like how he speaks, it's not preachy (you have to listen to a ton of DVD's with him talking about his system), he's relatable and he uses analogies and humor to get his point across which is very entertaining.
I would recommend it to any agent who is looking for a solid system to generate leads on a constant basis. You have to commit and follow his tools exactly or you won't get the results. If you are the kind of person who dances to the beat of his own drum, It's not for you. You can't half ass it!
It is a time commitment of about 2 hours a day the first week and 2 hours each week after. The note cards takes about 20 minutes to write 5 a day. The 5 Calls a day take about 30 minutes and the pop-by's can take about 10 min. a house. Depending on your data base it could take a while.
If you are a self starter and looking for a no brainer system it's for you. I can already see ways to enhance the system and make it more powerful and effective. He gives you the blocks to create your foundation to success.
All the best to you and I hope my answer helped some.
Then they try to hook you into buying their monthly package of mailings, cards, coaching, and etc. It's not just the cost of course if you want to continue. The Buffini system is designed to make money for Brian Buffini.
I'm sure some REALTORS get more business from it though.
I hope that helps.

I am a real estate broker-owner and trainer, and I think Buffini's program is terrific. His philosophy is very consistent with mine (or perhaps mine is consistent with his) -- build your business by providing thoughtful, engaging service to people to the point that you create a motivated, active referral base. The reason I like his program is that it virtually REQUIRES that agents provide excellent client service, which is important to me as a broker. That is, you don't get referrals if you're a lousy agent, so buildling a business by referral basically forces you to raise your game as a professional.
There are other educators in the business whom I respect, but I truly think that Brian created a different way of looking at the business that every agent should at least investigate.
P.S. I was wondering what happened to Elvis, and now I know.
