Royal Gorge Area Canon City
There have been abundance of orphans coming Canon City and I love it! These “orphans” are people moving with little if any family in the area. People move to the Fremont County area for a variety of reasons. But many buyers are drawn to the area for the climate and activities including hiking, Maybe they have family somewhere in the state but for the most part they are just drawn to the mountains.
When these “orphans” first come to town I try to give them the “tour” if I can. This would include Skyline Drive, The Royal Gorge Bridge area (of course), The Arkansas River Walk, a tour of main street, the Peabody house and whatever else I can fit in.
Recently “BK” came to town with one specific house in mind. He saw the house, I introduced him to the area and we wrote the offer. The very next morning he was off with his first new friend in the area to hike Tunnel Drive and get use to the altitude.
